Patient Advocate
Elle Stephens dedicates her time to volunteer work. For the past 18 years, she has been a breast cancer mentor advocate working with those newly diagnosed with cancer. She helps them get a second opinion, explains their pathology reports, and translates complicated cancer and nuanced treatment options into a language they can understand.
Elle has served on the board of directors of the Branson School, the UCSF Foundations Relations Board, the Kukio Foundation, and as the president of the Reed Union School district PTA. She received her undergraduate education from UC Berkeley and participated in UCSF Medical Center's graduate program in Medical Technology.
