  • Joined TAKEDA in 2008, and has worked mainly on animal model research, especially the establishment of novel disease models by reverse genetics and identification of causal genes in animal models by forward genetics.
  • Joined T-CiRA Suzuki-Project, a joint program of TAKEDA, CiRA and RIKEN in April 2017.
  • Current interest is to establish in vivo evaluation system and to study the mechanism underlying the NGLY1 Deficiency for developing new therapeutic strategies.
  • Obtained Ph.D. from the Kyushu University in agriculture.
