Quirine Eijkenboom

Patient Advocacy and Outreach

Quirine joined Grace Science Foundation in July 2017 to assist Kristen and Matt with patient outreach, advocacy and coordinating the patient registry. She grew up in Munich, Germany where she completed the bilingual International Baccalaureate at Munich International School. Quirine attended Stanford University and was a member of Stanford Women’s Golf Team. She conducted her research at Stanford under the supervision of Dr. Craig Heller in the department of human physiology, focusing on improving human performance under heat stress. In June 2017 she received her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology. Quirine’s ultimate ambition is to continue her studies at medical school and become a doctor.
