• 20 years of experience as Pharmaceutical research associate, project leader, working in TAKEDA Pharmaceutical industry Ltd. (Allergy, Inflammatory disorders, Cardiovascular Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, Aging…)
• Joined T-CiRA Suzuki-Project, a joint program of TAKEDA, CiRA and RIKEN as Sub-PI in April 2017.
• Currently, focusing neurodegenerative diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) , especially in motor neurons derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) with FUS or TDP-43 mutation. By using iPSCs derived from deficient individuals to generate neuronal cells, attempting to study the mechanism underlying the NGLY1 Deficiency and to develop new strategies for drug.
• Obtained Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine with Spermatogenesis at the Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University.
