Dr. Ryan Flynn

Stanford University

Ryan Flynn is a Damon Runyon Post-Doctoral Fellow in Prof. Bertozzi’s lab. He completed his MD/PhD at Stanford and his thesis work with Prof. Howard Chang. As a graduate student Ryan developed novel genomic tools to study RNA-protein interactions, RNA secondary structure, and genome architecture, for which he was recognized with the Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award. As a post-doc, Ryan is using genomics and proteomics tools to better understand how NGly1 operates at a molecular level.
