Dr. CJ Cambier

Stanford University

CJ Cambier is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Bertozzi’s lab and an HHMI Fellow of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.  He completed his undergraduate degree in biology cum laude at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and his Ph.D. in Immunology as a National Science Foundation Predoctoral Fellow at the Univeristy of Washington.  His graduate work with Prof. Lalita Ramakrishnan focused on the development of zebrafish models of human tuberculosis, and was recognized with the prestigious Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award.  In his Postdoctoral work, CJ is developing a zebrafish model of NGLY1 Deficiency and testing therapeutic strategies using parabiosis experiments.
