Kristin Kantautas is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, Canada. Her research in the Moffat lab involves mapping gene networks underlying human disease using functional genomic approaches. Presently, she is focused on interrogating the biological role of NGLY1 in human cells using a CRISPR-Cas9 screening platform coupled with genetic analyses.
